Title : The Return of The Dark Art of Benchmarking – This Time It’s Declarative!

Duration : 20 Min

Description : In 2016, the Dreamforce session “It’s About CPU Time: The Dark Art of Benchmarking” demonstrated the challenges of measuring and optimizing CPU time, including, for the first time, some rough measurements of process CPU time consumption. Since then processes and flows have become much more capable, not only supporting a great deal more complexity, but offering new approaches for measuring CPU time consumption. Measuring that consumption is a critical first step in developing approaches for optimizing flows and processes, and as you’ll learn, the importance of this can’t be understated. This session will focus on benchmarking methodologies and the interpretation (and misinterpretation) of debug logs.
